TagD Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
TagD is a tag game for iPhone made by Saron. We don't run accounts, ads or analytics, and we don't collect any personal data on our servers.
What stays on your phone
Your player name, your settings, your Solo and Online totals and the last room you were in are saved only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.
Game Center
Online rooms, friend invites, leaderboards and achievements use Apple's Game Center. Apple shares your Game Center name with the players in your room. Your scores and achievements go to Game Center. Apple's privacy policy applies to Game Center: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Real World mode
When you play Real World, TagD uses:
- Location: to show the play zone and tell you if you leave it. Your position is sent only to the phones in your room, during the round.
- Nearby Interaction (Ultra Wideband): to measure how far you are from the other players, so a tag only counts when you really touch. Distances go only to the phones in your room.
- Camera (iPhone 14 and newer): to point the arrow at nearby players. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent.
- Motion: to notice a bump when that tag method is on. It stays on your phone.
All of this travels between the phones over Game Center and never reaches us. It stops when the round ends.
Invite links
Room invite links open a page on saron.ro that shows the room code. Like any website, our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time) for security. We don't use them to identify you.
Children
TagD has no ads, purchases or chat, and collects no personal data, from anyone. Real World is meant to be played outdoors, with an adult nearby for young children.
